The external stairsare the result of the transformation of the original 17th Century building into a “house of neighbors”. A legally protected figure, due to its popular architectural value, given the importance of this element in these types of living quartersthat arethe origin of the Patios Festival, declared by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Remnants of this life style and the building they took place in, which should be preserved, and which are the physical referents of this culture.
The apartment “de la Escalera”, consists of two separate rooms, a bedroom and a living room, with a fully equipped integrated kitchen, both rooms separated by an exposed brick wall and visible ashlars, which bestow upon it a unique warm and welcoming personality. The bathroom with shower is separate.
