Patio de la Escalera
The Patio de la Escalera (The Patio of the Stairs) takes its name from the staircase located in the main courtyard of the 17th century baroque house in Agustín Moreno 46, where the apartments are located. A distinctive element dating from the transformation of this historic building into a house of neighbors (“casa de vecinos”, a particular housingandlife-stylearrangement with important ethnological values) and which has become a singular part of our universal patrimony, together with the patio from the Patios Festival, declared by UNESCO an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
